Flame retardant ammonium polyphosphate APP (n=200) is an inorganic flame retardant mainly composed of phosphorus and nitrogen, with a chemical formula of(NH₄)ₙ₊₂PₙO₃ₙ₊₁(n=200), belonging to high degree of polymerization and insoluble ammonium polyphosphate. Its appearance is a white fine powder, non-toxic, odorless, non corrosive, with high thermal stability (decomposition temperature>300 ℃), low moisture absorption, and significant flame retardant efficiency. Application areas:

1. Flame retardant polymer materials

Plastic industry: suitable for general plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), as well as engineering plastics such as nylon (PA) and polyester (PET). Adding 8% -15% can make the material pass the UL94 V0 flame retardant standard (thickness ≤ 3mm) while maintaining its mechanical properties such as tensile strength and impact strength.

Rubber products: used for styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM), etc., can be used to prepare flame retardant sealing strips, cable sheaths and other products, improve the flame retardant level and high temperature resistance of rubber, suitable for automotive, construction and other fields.
