Taixing Zinc Borate 233.5(ZB2335) (2ZnO·3B2O3·3.5H2O CAS NO.1332-07-6 / 138265-88-0) is produced by boric acid process with high purity, high content of ZnO and B2O3 and high thermal stability. Zinc borate is used as an environmentally-friendly additive halogen- free flame retardant and smoke suppressant in various polymer systems.

Application:

1. Zinc borate is used in engineering plastics, hoses, conveyor belts, coated canvas, fiberglass, wire and cable, electrical components, rubber-based compounds such as coatings and paints.

2. As an environmentally friendly alternative, zinc borate can replace existing antimony oxide and halogen flame retardants, and can be directly used in the processing technology of resins and rubbers such as PVC, PE, polyolefins, and epoxy polyamides, and is widely used in decorative materials such as textiles, fiber, flooring, leather, wallpaper, carpets, and paints to improve flame retardancy.

3. Zinc borate is widely used in the mining of plastic materials based on its antistatic properties, and is used in the fields of preservatives, infrared absorbers, wood preservatives, and bactericides.
