Flame retardant zinc borate 2335 is an inorganic flame retardant containing zinc, boron, oxygen, and crystal water. Its chemical composition is 2ZnO·3B₂O₃·3.5H₂O, molecular weight is 434.7, and it appears as a white fine powder. Its thermal decomposition temperature is ≥ 260 ℃. During the combustion process, it releases crystalline water to absorb heat and cool down, while generating a ZnO-B ₂ O ∝ - SiO ₂ glassy protective layer to isolate oxygen and suppress smoke generation. The product has a zinc content of ≥ 37.5%, a boron content of ≥ 36%, and a particle size (D50) of ≤ 2 μ m. It has the characteristics of halogen-free, low toxicity, and strong weather resistance. It can be used in conjunction with bromine based, phosphorus based flame retardants, and metal hydroxides to significantly improve flame retardant efficiency and reduce costs.

2. Full process quality control

Raw material selection: Select zinc oxide and boric acid with a purity of ≥ 99.5% and a heavy metal content of ≤ 10ppm to ensure product safety.

Precision testing: Each batch of products needs to undergo 6 tests including XRD (phase analysis), TGA (thermal stability), and laser particle size analyzer (particle size distribution), with a failure rate of less than 0.1%.
