Aluminum hydroxide ATH-HW-3 (chemical formula Al (OH) 3) is a white powder flame retardant modified with surface hydroxysilane, with an average particle size of 3 μ m, and has the triple function of "flame retardant smoke suppression reinforcement":

Efficient flame retardant: decomposition temperature of 240-350 ℃, release crystalline water to absorb heat (heat absorption value of 1.96kJ/g), reduce the peak surface temperature of the material by 20%, single component addition of 40-60% can make the oxygen index (OI) ≥ 28%, and the flame retardant grade reaches UL94 V-1 level.

Low smoke and non-toxic: When burned, the smoke density is reduced by 35%, and there is no release of halogens or harmful gases. It complies with the EU RoHS, REACH, and China GB/T 2408-2021 standards and can be used for food contact grade materials.

Performance synergy: The surface silane coating layer (thickness 20-50nm) enhances the bonding force with the polymer interface, with a tensile strength retention rate of ≥ 90%, while improving the material's weather resistance (UV aging 500h yellowing index ≤ 5).


Aluminum Hydroxide (ATH-HW-3) is an aluminum hydroxide specially used for cable sheathing materials with D(50) between 2~3um and D(97)≤10um prepared using a special control method. Compared with ordinary aluminum hydroxide products, the particle size distribution is narrower and more concentrated, the viscosity is lower, and the use cost is low.
